About: Opening titles and bumpers for Big Brother 2003

My treatment was selected by Southern Star and Channel Ten who were looking for a fresh new look for the third season of Big Brother in Australia. The idea for the opening titles was to represent the whole process of the Big Brother show. There was a lot to fit in, the selection of the housemates, their activities in the house, the surveillance of the housemates, the evictions and the voting process. Using bold, clean graphics and icons to represent the environments and the housemates, I tried to create a seamless journey through the entire Big Brother 'game'. The opener, along with the bumpers and additional elements that were created, lended a light hearted and fun feel to the show.

The opening titles won SILVER for best program title sequence at PROMAX BDA 2003 Australia / New Zealand.
